Softball Thornton Academy 12 Marshwood 0 SOUTH BERWICK, Maine — Emily Robida and Hailey Tarr each had two hits for Marshwood (4-8) in this Western Maine Class A loss. Kaylah Abdul had a double for the Hawks. Thornton Academy broke the game open with six runs in the third inning.

Boys Tennis Marshwood 3 Gorham 2 GORHAM, Maine — The Hawks received singles wins from No. 2 Riley Burke, 7-5, 3-6, 7-6 (3), and No. 3 Filippo Gualdi, 6-3, 7-5, in this Class A victory over Gorham (3-7). Marshwood (7-3) also got a win at No. 1 doubles from Darren LaPointe and Max Parker, 6-1, 6-7 (2), 6-0.

Girls TRACK Marshwood takes second in three-team meet SOUTH BERWICK, Maine — Natalie DuBois placed first in the 400 as Marshwood placed second with 66 points in a three-team meet on Monday. Cheverus won the meet with 73 points. Marshwood’s Leah Dodier placed first in the high jump, while Mikaella Sansoucie was first in the pole vault. The Marshwood foursome of Wilber, DuBois, Lydia St. Pierre and Naomi Lewis won the 4×100, while Wilber, Mallory Nadeau and Leah Shea and Dodier won the 4×400.
