Executive chef, Ned-Edward Grieg, will be returning to cook with Central School’s first-grade students on Tuesday, March 31. Chef Ned-Edward Grieg is part of the Chef’s Move to School program initiated by Michel Obama and introduced to Central School five years ago by local chef and author Kathy Gunst. Kathy has invited many chefs from local restaurants and bakeries to participate in this whole-school program at Central School.
Chef Ned will be working with students, staff and volunteers to prepare Asian Primavera Noodle Bowl. Students will be using many vegetables and spices that will make this healthy meal new and different for Central School’s students and adults alike.
