PAJAMA DAY AT CENTRAL SCHOOL MONDAY, MARCH 2 READ ACROSS AMERICA

It’s PAJAMA DAY AT CENTRAL SCHOOL ON MONDAY MARCH 2
Central School’s Winter Reading Challenge

We are nearing the end of our winter reading challenge! On Monday, March 2nd, we will celebrate our reading successes with hot cocoa delivered by Central School’s librarian, Mrs. Jones. At 2:30 we will have a very special read aloud with Mrs. Bogard in the gym! All are welcome to wear their pajamas to school on Monday and don’t forget to bring your cocoa mug reading logs to school! Happy Reading!

Monday, March 2 (Read Across America)

We want to encourage our students to read more at home and capitalize on cold, dark days before spring hits and distractions arrive! It is cozy to read with family members and share a good book. Students can read themselves or be read to by other family members. Kids are never too old to hear a book!

Our recipe for Successful Winter Reading:

Take a just right book.

Add a cup of coziness

Sprinkle with your thoughts.

Bake for 15-20 minutes.

Share with your classmates.
