2015 Summer Reading Programs For All Ages ~ Every Hero Has a Story

Be the Hero of Your Own Story    

For Kids (through age 12):

Children choose & read books all summer using a reading log to record the date each day they have read 20 minutes or more. Each time they have logged 10 days of reading they can come to the library for a prize!  Children who are not yet reading on their own can dive in and complete the family activities on their own log and win prizes.

For Teens:  Summer Reading Challenge:

Complete 5 unmask tasks (a little bit of everything) to win an ice cream cone and 10 to choose a book for us to buy for the collection.

Be our guests:

Gather 5 friends, and we will host a movie for you and supply popcorn

Arrange a paper airplane balcony party       

A book trailer video making session 

A Mardi Gras mask making workshop          

A group painting project or an activity of your own design

For Adults:

Pick up a bingo board and start reading!  Reading programs give us a chance to:

Stretch our reading habits

Win some prizes!
