French Club

Students in the MHS French Club participated in the 2016 National French Week Video Contest sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of French. There were a number of entries this year. All student participants received a certificate for their efforts. Bon travail!

MHS Art Teacher Selected as Distinguished Educator

The Maine Art Education Association recognitions committee recently announced the recognition of Patricia Sevigny-Higgins with the 2018 Maine Art Education Association – Distinguished Educator Award.  Mrs. Sevigny-Higgins’ commitment and dedication to the continued advancement of art education in Maine was specifically commended.  Congratulations!

Marching Band Earns Silver

The MHS Marching Band earned a silver medal at the Maine Band Director’s Association Marching Band Finals.  Twelve bands from both Maine and New Hampshire competed.  Mr. Graichen cheered, “They easily were one of the hardest working bands on the field and one of the most musical in their presentation theme, “Angles.” …
