“Dress a Girl” Marshwood High School’s Sewing Fundamentals Students Collaborate with Safe Passage in Guatemala

Last spring Diane Sedler, MHS Consumer Science teacher, arranged a collaborative project with “Dress a Girl”. Each student in her Sewing Fundamentals class made a dress that would ultimately be donated to a girl in need in Guatemala. Angie Littlefield and Tatyana Wolterbeek had planned to travel to Guatemala over the summer to volunteer at a school called Safe Passage. Mrs. Sedler made arrangements for Annie and Tatyana to donate the dresses to a group of girls there.
