Marshwood High School Students Earn Awards in National Latin Exam

Marshwood High School Latin I students participated in the National Latin exam that was administered in early March.  This test was given to 154,000 students in 49 states and 17 foreign countries.

Marshwood Latin teacher, Judy Watts, announced that Paige Singer scored a perfect paper for which she received a gold medal and hand a lettered certificate.  Other gold medalists were Benjamin Gildersleeve, Riley Dinsmore-Patch, and Reilly Nichols.  Emma MacDonald earned a Silver Maxima Cum Laude medal.

Magna Cum Laude certificates were awarded to Katherine Clarke and Lowell Pence while  Cum Laude certificates were presented to Cameron Edwards, Molly Ferguson, Emily Kaye,Matthew Caverly, Olivia Rowell and Hailey Gagne.
