Continuum Arts Collective will be awarding a $2500 scholarship to a Marshwood High School Senior. The deadline is May 7 and students can apply at https://continuumarts.org/scholarship. We will notify the awardee on Saturday, May 22 and announce the award on Monday, May 24.
As an update, last year’s recipients – Alaina Smith and Parrish Kirchoff – both received their 2020 scholarship funds in January..

Continuum Arts Collective is a 100% volunteer-driven 501(c)3 nonprofit that assists underserved, school-aged artists and musicians in Maine and New Hampshire by providing students with musical instruments, art supplies, art and music lessons, and experiential opportunities to showcase their work. We are pleased to announce Continuum Arts Collective will award a $2,500 scholarship in memory of our late and beloved board member Chadwick Desilets, who attended Marshwood High School.
Information on eligibility for this scholarship is as follows:
- Eligibility is limited to Marshwood High School seniors who will be enrolled in an undergraduate college degree program during the 2021-2022 academic year or who would like to attend an art or music workshop, course, or program. Funds will be issued directly to the school or college after completion of the fall 2021 semester, or directly to the workshop, course, or program prior to attending.
- Each applicant must complete the form located at http://continuumarts.org/scholarship along with an essay, in 500 words or less, describing how art or music has positively influenced their life.
Each application will be evaluated on the strength of the essay.
All items must be received by Continuum Arts Collective by Friday, May 7, 2021, to be considered for the scholarship. Applications will be reviewed and awardees will be notified via email by Saturday, May 22, 2021.
