SOUTH BERWICK, Maine — Noble scored five runs in the seventh inning, but the Hawks held on to close their regular season at 11-5. Noble appears to be playoff-bound at 8-8.

David Hamme, Coby Johnson and Owen Podolec all drove in runs for the Knights in the seventh.

Quinn McDaniel homered in the third inning for the Hawks, who had 10 hits. DJ Cagnina and Trevor Chase each had multiple-hit days. Connor Caverly had a sac fly in the first inning.

Marshall Smaracko got the win on the mound, firing six shutout innings. John Riccardi tossed an inning of relief.

Zach Picard took the loss for Noble. He went four innings, allowing six runs on eight hits, striking out one and walking zero.
