Marshwood Middle School Receives Two Marshwood Education Foundation Grants Totaling $1600

Educator Tami Schoff wrote and was awarded a grant, “Homefront Experience”, for the 8th Grade White Team to participate in a field trip to the Wright Museum to meet and learn from WWII Veterans and  Holocaust survivors.

Educator Libby Clark wrote and was awarded a grant, Holocaust”,  to help fund an 8th grade field trip to The Holocaust and Human Rights Center of Maine.  Students will attend two workshops:  “The Message Matters” and  “Created Equal: American’s Civil Rights Struggle”.

The Marshwood Education Foundation has awarded grants totaling over $151,000 since its creation.
