On March 16, two Marshwood Middle School sixth grade teams competed at the Regional Odyssey of the mind competition in Biddeford, Maine.
Team Naturally Unnatural chose Leonardo’s Workshop for their original creation. Leonardo DaVinici’s workshop was designed as a space for their original performance. The group earned a fourth place finish out of eight competing teams.
Team Liquid Solids worked on a problem titled Opposites Distract. They created a performance about a sneaky character who would distract others. Their performance earned a third place finish out of six teams. In April, they will return to Biddeford to compete in the Maine State OM tournament where they hope to earn a spot to the Odyssey of the Mind Worlds Tournament.
Both teams had an extraordinary day and used their creative problem solving skills to think on their feet while designing and implementing their visions for the day.
