“Read Across America” is an annual day in March when reading is celebrated, and thanks to Joanne Hoerth, Ann Shishler  and all the students at Eliot elementary school, we participated through their support and the opportunity to spend time with them during Skype visits. They used Rosie & Opal as the focus of art and music classes as well as the basis for their “Read Across America” project.
