Antonio is a storyteller who has been performing in Maine and around the world for the past 40 years. He is originally from Brazil and has presented in 21 countries and 44 US States. Antonio came to Central School today to engage and inspire us with his storytelling. Storytelling is the art of sharing experiences, knowledge, or ideas through narrative, using elements like characters, plot, and setting to create emotional connections and convey meaning. Storytelling is important in early childhood because it engages children, cultivates language development, and taps into children’s imaginations. Through narratives, children can explore their emotions, expose themselves to new worlds and ideas, and develop a passion for learning. A HUGE thank you to the PTO for sponsoring this event.
