On On Friday, Febuary the 13th, Central School held held the100th Day of Giving Assembly. For the past 21 years our Central School community has collected food, household and personal care items for the South Berwick Food Pantry. This year we collected over 2000 items including crackers, juice boxes, granola bars, ketchup, syrup, dish detergent and more. Our third grade students toured the food pantry to learn how the food pantry works and the importance of having a food pantry in our town. Ambassadors from each third grade class lead the assembly, explaining the purpose of the pantry, how it supports families in need, and ways students can help their neighbors. Together we can, and do, make a difference!
