Last week, Central School students K-3 participated in Maine Agriculture in the Classroom's state wide reading and planting event. Mrs. Joy and Mrs. White read "I Love Blueberries" with all of our students. Following the read aloud, which teaches about growing blueberry plants in water (hydroponic planting), students "planted" five seeds in a glove to see if the seeds can germinate without soil. We are so lucky to have these unique planting and reading opportunities each year, brought to us by the amazing Mrs. Joy!
