Central School third grader Kai De Neef recently demonstrated remarkable initiative and creativity while on a family trip to Nicaragua. Inspired to share his passion for art, Kai independently designed and taught two art lessons. He researched his topics, wrote scripts, and with a translator, confidently presented key concepts to his audience.
During his lessons, Kai encouraged collaboration and invited participants to create drawings of things they love. He taught about landscapes and cubism, inspiring others to explore their own creativity.
Kai’s enthusiasm for art and his joy in helping others create truly stand out. We are fortunate to have such a thoughtful and talented young artist as part of the Central School community.
