16th Annual 100th Day of Giving

Central School Cares

For the past 16 years, the students and staff at Central School have celebrated the 100th Day of school with an important community service project. Over the years we have collected thousands of food and personal care items to donate to the South Berwick Food Pantry and End 68 Hours of Hunger. This pandemic has reminded us all how vitally important it is to help one another and take care of our neighbors.

This year, in light of the pandemic, we will continue to support these two organizations just in a different way. Instead of collecting items, each grade level is challenged to collect $100.00 by the 100th day of school.  If every child brought in $2.00 we would meet or exceed the challenge!

Students are encouraged to earn any money they donate. Perhaps they could do an extra chore or earn money in a creative way as we learn and celebrate the importance of giving.

The challenge starts Monday, January 24th and ends on February 20th. Thank you!
