Central School Cares

The 100th Day of School is a big milestone for our elementary students each year. It is a day we reflect on and celebrate what amazing readers, writers, scientists, mathematicians, artists, musicians, and more we have become in 100 days! The 100th day of school is also a day of caring and community outreach. For the last 17 years, students and staff have collected food and personal care items for the South Berwick Food Pantry and End 68 Hours of Hunger. Over the years we have collected and taken thousands of items to the food pantry. This year in light of the pandemic, instead of collecting physical items our students and staff raised money for these organizations. Students were encouraged to earn any money they donated. The week leading up to the 100th day, third-grade students shared how they earned their money on the morning announcements. This year Central School raised $819.61! Thank you to all who supported this important community event! Central School Cares!
