Yo! 'Sup! From March 17th through the 29th, all Central School students had the opportunity to make music on instruments made from repurposed items that would have gone to a landfill. Master Musician, Jeff Erwin, emphasized the importance of listening and taking turns. Students echoed patterns, improvised, and even shadow danced with friends. In addition, each third-grade class prepared two pieces for a concert. All third-grade students had a special job, these jobs included rapper, singer, DJ, light person, and shadow dancer. Even the teachers got into the fun, surprising the school with a finale performance at the concert on March 29th.
