Good Evening,
Due to an emergency State of Maine road closure on Emerys Bridge Road which the District was notified about on Friday, the town will be closing Emerys Bridge Rd between Hooper Sands Rd and Earls Rd. This will affect Bus #20. The routes will be modified beginning on Monday May 5, 2025. After speaking with the Town of South Berwick, we do not expect the work to be completed until August. Please note the changes below will likely remain in effect for the remainder of the school year.
If Bus #20 cannot reach your stop, you should have already received a telephone call.
The AM stops:
MMS/MHS
Pick-up times will run approximately 15 minutes later except for Belle Marsh Rd, which will be at the regular time.
Central/MGWS
Belle Marsh Rd will be running 10 minutes later. Earls Rd/Wild Rose Ln will be approximately 20-25 minutes later. Witchtrot Rd will be approximately 30 minutes later.
For the PM stops:
MMS/MHS
Witchtrot Rd times will not change in the afternoon. Emerys Bridge Road will be 15 minutes later. Earls Rd will be earlier by approximately 10 minutes. Belle Marsh Rd will be approximately 15 minutes later.
Central/MGWS PM
The Bus will be running about 15 minutes behind its normal schedule, except for the students on Belle Marsh Road, who may be delayed by about 25 minutes.
Our apologies for the late notice, but the Transportation Department was only made aware of this change on Friday, and we wanted to make sure we had the opportunity to speak with each affected family prior to sending an email.
