PEEPs: Partnership of Eliot Elementary Parents
Tuesday, April 26 was Breakfast for Lunch day featuring their very own EES Maple Syrup!!

The maple sugaring project at EES produced around 70 gallons of sap this year (14 5-gallon buckets full!). Once boiled down, they ended up with a little over 1 1/2 gallons of syrup.
Due to the short season, they were unable to produce enough syrup from EES for all the kids to try. To help them out, Sandy Hill Farm generously donated 2 gallons of syrup from their maple operation in Eliot.
With the syrup from EES and Sandy Hill combined, they were able to fill up 340 "tasting" cups so the kids could have a sweet treat on Tuesday!
