MGWS students were treated to a concert on Wednesday from the University of Maine Symphonic Band.
The band, led by Chris White was phenomenal!
Former Great Works students, Ryan Long, and Maddy Sintirus were among the performers. The students learned all bout the different kinds of instruments, including some that students wouldn’t normally see in a school band such as a harp and a stand-up bass.
Fifth grader, Anders Siebach was chosen to conduct a song. The band was amazing the students and staff were entertained!
