Ms. DeMace’s 4th-grade class worked together to help out 3 Dogs Rescue, a local rescue located in Berwick, Maine. 3 Dogs Rescue is a foster-based rescue, which means that all of the dogs are not at one central location.
3 Dogs Rescue believes that a shelter environment can add more stress to an already traumatic situation for an animal. 3 Dogs have a network of amazing and compassionate local fosters who graciously allow the dogs (and sometimes cats!) to hang out for a few days while they wait for a forever home.
The students collected shirts to make braided toys and fleece for blankets. They also collected trash bags, leashes, collars, and sheets.
3 Dogs Rescue is always looking for 30-gallon trash bags, sheets, towels, bleach, food, collars/leashes.
Thank you so much Ms. Demace’s class for your wonderful contribution!
