The 4th-grade classes at GWS have officially kicked off their extreme reader units with an exciting mystery unit! Extreme reader units involve studying a specific genre and then wrapping up the unit with a celebration.
This unit ended with Officer Mazur and Officer Macleod, Marshwood SROs, visiting with a few of the 4th-grade classes.
They brought some items that officers need to help solve cases and they talked to the 4th graders about what it's like being a police officer. The students had lots of questions for the officers and had a great time talking with them!
Thank you Officer Mazur and Officer Macleod for taking the time to visit!
