PINKHAM NOTCH 2025

You could see excitement, and nervous anticipation on the faces of the 5th graders as they boarded buses for New Hampshire's White Mountains for a 3 day/2 night trip to Pinkham Notch.

Students were able to explore the outdoors and continue their outdoor learning. Long, challenging hikes and rainy cold weather couldn’t dampen the spirits of the students and chaperones.

Some of the hikes were Tuckerman Ravine, a 7.8 mile round trip, a shorter hike up to Low's Bald Spot, a 4 mile hike. Square Ledge is a short but steep trail to reach the summit, with fantastic views of Mt. Washington. And Crystal Cascades for the amazing waterfalls.

The students also did map reading, played outdoor games and had indoor classroom times.  It was an amazing experience and the students came back tired, and so happy!
