On Tuesday, October 7, Mrs. Hargis, Mrs. Moore, Mrs. Beyea, and Mrs. Morrison’s classes teamed up with Mrs. Theriault for an exciting STEAM challenge as part of their EXTREME READER Survival unit.
Students were tasked with engineering vessels from found materials to transport water from their “water source” to their “campsite.” With creativity and teamwork, they designed some pretty impressive (if not entirely watertight!) containers. What a fantastic group of problem-solvers and survivors!
