I love to read day is a long loved tradition here at Great Works school and students got to get ready for school vacation by enjoying this fun day!
Students across the school were mixed into different groups with different grades and spent the morning engaging in our love for reading. Activities ranged from story read aloud groups, to silent reading, to a story walk about around the school, and so much more! A huge shout out and thanks to all that made that possible!
The afternoon was spent with special guests from Portland Ovations that came and shared stories with the students. The whole school got the chance to enjoy there stories and then classes got the opportunity to take part in storytelling workshops with members from Portland Ovations.
