On Wednesday, March 25th, Great Works 4th and 5th grade students participated in the Dewey’s Dare Escape Room. Each year, students are encouraged to take the Dewey’s Dare Reading Challenge, by choosing at least one new “Dewey’s Dare” book to read. This year, there were 28 titles in the challenge, recommended by educators and librarians around the state and country. The Dewey’s Dare Escape Room was based on the books and was a celebration of all of the hard work our students did in reading this year's selections. Each student followed the clues to 6 rooms, where they solved puzzles and looked for clues. It was an exciting day for all of us!
