This year we were so excited once again to be participating in the Maine Adaptive Track and Field Day here in our district.
From around the district we had a total of 36 athletes participating from 5 different schools in 3 different age categories. Athletes participated in both track and field events with events like the long jump, relay events, and field events like softball toss.
There was awesome support for athletes and the weather turned our perfect! A picnic lunch was served. the closing ceremony was celebrated with athletes receiving medals. When the athletes returned to school they enjoyed an ice cream treat.
What an amazing day! A huge thanks to all who helped put this event on and a even bigger congratulations to all our amazing athletes that competed this year!!
