What an amazing day we had this Monday to kick off the last week of school! The weather was amazing the kids were excited, and all the activities were top notch fun!
Students and staff spent the morning rotating through stations of different games and activities that helped challenge and engage them. From relay races, to group strategy games, to a field filled with inflatables the morning was great!
At one point during the morning each class got to visit the visiting wildlife encounters exhibit and spend some time learning about a few new animals and at the end get a chance to touch a few of them. It was very exciting and a great learning experience for all!
We started the afternoon with a school wide bbq grilled by our very own Mr. Hubbard and put on by our amazing kitchen staff and the everyone got a special treat from Kona Ice. This was such a fun way to kick off the afternoon of our GWS Carnival! Students spent a better part of the afternoon enjoying all the carnival things before we wrapped up the day with an awards ceremony and headed home.
A huge thank you to all the volunteers who helped with the event as well as all that helped plan it all it was amazing! Another huge thank you to out amazing PTO who helped keep all the staff and volunteers hydrated but also fed everyone! Thank you to all!
