Last Friday was the 25th anniversary of September 11th. As a school, we gathered around the tree planted in 2021 to remember the 20th anniversary. Our local fire department was also here to display the flag for the Pledge of Allegiance.
Mrs. Allis spoke about remembering the helpers that day and every day. 5th grade students read 2 poems, and we had a moment of silence to remember those who lost their lives.
It was a beautiful morning to gather to commemorate the anniversary of that fateful day. 9/11 was a horrible day that changed our country, the world, and countless lives forever, and while we can never replace the loss of that day for all who were impacted, we will never forget.
