CLYNK

Mrs. Morse's fifth-graders are participating in their first service-learning project of the school year-CLYNK.

CLYNK is a great way to boost fundraising by turning your trash into cash! Because Great Works School is non-profit, the students received the bags for free. They have tagged the CLYNK bags and have distributed them throughout the school. Students went around the school and sorted through the current recycling bins and discovered CLYNK acceptable containers were being placed in the bins along with trash. They created posters to help promote their endeavor and are collecting clean, recyclables. All proceeds will benefit events and needs at MGWS!!

The fifth-graders in Mrs. Morse's class were challenged to perform 100 acts of kindness as a class between September 15 and October 15th. They are more than halfway to their goal!

Thank you 5th graders for your awesome contributions to our school and for helping the environment!
