Balloon Parade
Great Works Fifth graders had their very own Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on Tuesday, November 23rd. All of the classes paraded down the main hallways up to the office and back.
Students spent time brainstorming ideas, drawing them out, and deciding what balloons they needed to bring their imaginations to life! Some students worked together and some students paired up for larger pieces.
It was wonderful to see students lining the hallways and cheering and clapping for all of the participants. The event was filmed and teachers shared it with classes that were not able to attend.
It was such a fun event!
