Great News from Marshwood High School

Principal’s Report

We are excited to announce a new Extended Learning Opportunities (ELO) Program  at Marshwood High School.

Marshwood received a grant from the State of Maine and the Maine Department of Education to develop and implement an ELO Program that helps students:

  • Acquire valuable foundational and 21st Century skills,

  • Engage in relevant, challenging learning outside of the classroom.

  • Gain an understanding of their college and career opportunities,

  • Create meaningful connections to employers in our state.

Essentially, the purpose of an ELO program is to inspire students to identify a passion, develop self awareness, collaborate in the design of the ELO experience and engage in authentic, real world learning. ELOs are personalized experiences that support students in becoming college, career, life ready.

Our website can be found on the Marshwood High School site under Menu.

Please do not hesitate to contact ELO Coordinator Mr Scully robert.scully@rsu35.org with any questions.
