Marshwood High School Extended Learning Opportunity

Every experience is a moving force-John Dewey

Hello Everyone:

As Semester II begins, this is just a reminder that Extended Learning Opportunities (ELOs) are available for interested students. ELOs are interest based, individually designed learning experiences that often include community-based learning environments.

See our website for more details.

In addition to an individually designed ELO, our partnership with Jobs for Maine Graduates, (JMG) allows us to offer some interesting online courses this spring.

These courses are delivered in two ways:

  1. JMG Individual ELO

Self paced, online, asynchronous-Supervised/mentored by Mr Scully, ELO Coordinator

Course Catalog. If interested, please set up a meeting with Mr Scully.

  1. JMG Group ELO

Weekly virtual class with students from around the State, outside experts in the field; project based learning.

Please look closely at day and time as these meet weekly  “live” (virtually)

    beginning at 3:00.

     Three new offerings this spring:

          Environmental Science

          Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning

          Personal Finance
