Great News from
Marshwood High School and Central School
Students on Mrs. Crowley’s freshman advisory and Mrs. Arbelo’s second-grade class have been corresponding as pen pals throughout the school year. Each of Mrs. Arbelo’s students was paired with a freshman student at the high school. The second grade students practiced their letter-writing skills, while the high school students practiced making connections with their community.
On Wednesday, May 29th, the pen pals finally met in person. Both the younger and older students were very excited for the meet and greet. During this time, they shared a snack break, exchanged pen-pal bracelets, and cheered on their classmates at the MHS Adaptive Track & Field Festival.
