For 30 years, the Senator George J. Mitchell Scholarship Research Institute has been dedicated to expanding access to higher education for Maine students. This year, the Mitchell Institute is proud to award scholarships to 200 graduating high school seniors—one from every community in the state. With over 1,600 applications submitted, the selection process was highly competitive.
Marshwood High School is thrilled to announce that two of our students have been named 2025 Mitchell Scholars. Each recipient will receive a $10,000 scholarship, as well as access to personal and professional development programs, additional funding opportunities, and ongoing resources and support through the Mitchell Scholarship Program.
