Our new Unified Literacy Class is off to an exciting start! This quarter, students are exploring Robots through partnered reading, presentations, writing, hands-on projects, and even a field trip to Dunkin’ Donuts to practice menu math and social skills. Our mentors are teaching us as much as the students, showing patience, creativity, and problem-solving skills. Already, the mentees are showing more persistence, focus, and independence, and these gains are carrying over to other classes.
