The parallels between art and Geometry can be seen every day, from walking down the street, shopping in a store, or visiting a museum.  For centuries, stained glass windows have been used as decorative pieces in buildings.   Creators of stained glass windows use concepts of Geometry in their designs. Students in Mrs. Crowley’s 2021- 2022 Geometry classes explored how transformations are used in stained glass windows.  Students used their knowledge of transformations on a coordinate plane to create their own stained glass window.
