Marshwood girls tennis had 4 players compete in the state singles qualifying tournament. Ivy Landry and Lucy Parker post impressive 1st round wins and Hannah Hodges got narrowly edged out. Junior Tia Anderson won both her matches to earn a spot to compete in the round of 52 at the state singles Championships at Bates College May 17th.

Marshwood baseball moves to 6-0! Some late inning magic was just enough for the Hawks to overcome some exceptional Bonny Eagle pitching.
Down 3-2 and down to their last out with Liam Tiernan on 1st, Riley Parnham hit a double, sending Liam home to tie it. A few batters and runners later, Ronan Garrett hits a lining single to right to walk it off as David Harrington scores.
The Hawks head to Gorham on Thursday, first pitch at 4:30.

A great day for baseball at Hadlock Field in Portland as Marshwood beat Deering 10-0. The Hawks improved to 5-0 behind 5 dominant innings by Charlie Hudson, who allowed only 3 hits. Sawyer Reimels made his varsity debut for the 6th and 7th innings to finish off the Rams.
Ronan Garrett went 4-for-4, with two singles and two doubles. His batting average sits at an impressive .407 for the season.
The Hawks host Bonny Eagle at 4:30 this Tuesday and head to Gorham on Thursday.

Congrats to Emily. She just returned from a 10-day trip to San Francisco where she competed in the country's highest level of competition for sailboat racing in her age group. She placed 5th in Silver Fleet, which puts her among the top 75 sailors in the country, and top 20 females.
Emily is on the Marshwood/Traip Sailing team (part of Rob Scully's ELO partnership with Piscataqua Youth Sailing Association).
