Girls Tennis loses 5 - 0 to Gorham
Girls tennis faced a tough opponent in Gorham losing 5-0 but gathered great experience heading into the weekend state singles tournament. Tia Anderson played a courageous match vs the #1 seed in the state singles tournament.
Boys Tennis loses to Gorham 1-4.
Graham Pruyne erased a 3 game deficit in the first set but fell 6-7 in a tiebreaker and then 1-6 in the second set.
Kai Machamer battled hard back and forth losing (3-6,4-6) at second singles.
Andrew Daskoski won his match with an impressive (6-0,6-4 outing).
Finson Theos & Jeremy Turner lost at second doubles. After 2-6 in the first set they came back from 1-5 in the second but fell short losing 4-6
Zach Ferioli & Zeke McIntire lost (0-6,3-6) at second doubles.

Junior Sam Arnold battled for over 2 hours to earn a 3rd victory at #1 singles. Tia Anderson, Lucy Parker also won at #2 and #3 singles. Senior Abby Arnold and Sophomore Rachel Johnson also won at #1 doubles.
Marshwood Girls Varsity Lacrosse (3-1) lose 14-0 to a talented Kennebunk team(4-0). Down 11-0 at halftime the Hawks defense only allowed 3 second half goals. Goalie Lauren Walker had 7 saves. Next game is this Friday 5/6/22 at 4 pm vs Bonny Eagle at MHS.
