Marshwood Girls Basketball (5-2) beat Wells (4-1) 54-43 in a battle at Wells. The Hawks had a 22pt leads but the Warriors brought it within 10 in the 4th quarter. Marshwood held on for the win. Sarah Theriault led all scoring with 16 along with Savannah Nashwinter with 13. Tardiff was the high scorer for Wells with 9.
Marshwood Girls Basketball (4-2) beat Westbrook (3-3) 53-42 on Tuesday afternoon. Marshwood took control early but Westbrook made a come back and it was a 2pt game by the half. The Hawks out scored the Blue Blazes 30-21 in the second half to win the game. Shelby Anderson led all scoring with 20pts and Daniella Aceto had 14 rebounds.
The Marshwood Knighthawks hockey team lost to the Thornton Academy Golden Trojans 4-2 at Biddeford Ice Arena on Friday. Knighthawk goals were scored by Ayden Lockard and Caden Fontaine. Sumner Wood stopped 21 out of 25 shots on net.

Another Sewing Fundamentals Class Field Trip: Alpaca Farm
In order to better understand where fiber originates, Mrs. Lalos' Sewing Fundamentals class traveled to Shechem Alpacas Farm in Rollinsford, NH. Students were taught about the process of gathering alpaca fleece and sheep wool and how each can be turned into a wide array of products from yarn and apparel to tapestries and blankets.
