Girls Varsity Tennis Loses 5-0 to Scarborough. #2 singles and #1 doubles both lost tough 3 set battles that could have gone either way. Each court fought hard against a very tough Scarborough squad.
Marshwood softball loses to Massabesic 9-5. The Hawks battled as Sophie Mitchell had 3 RBI’s & Faith Tsakiris had an RBI as well.

Jeremy Turner & Zach Ferioli had a great match at second doubles. After loses the first set 3-6 they rallied to win their second set 6-4, but unfortunately fell short 7-10 in a third set tiebreaker.
Andrew Daskoski at third singles challenged his opponent 4-6 in the second set after a 0-6 first set.
Varsity Baseball Wins 10-0 over Windham in 5 innings. Ty Hussey (2 RBI) and Ben Garrepy were both 2-3. Riley Parnham had a double and 2 RBI. Andrew Gray started and pitched 2.1 innings: 0H, 1BB, 4K.

Marshwood Boys tennis win it’s first match of the season 5-0 against Sanford.
Graham Pruyne, Kai Machamer, and Andrew Daskoski didn’t lose a game at singles each winning (6-0,6-0,6-0).
Marshwood boys lax was just postponed at Kennebunk due to weather. Make up date TBD.
Earlier in day, softball at Massabesic was postponed to Sat. Both games at 9am
Marshwood Girls Tennis gutted out a victory 3-2 over Portland. With the match tied 2-2 it came down to #1 Senior veteran Rachel Kovach and scrappy Sophomore Rachel Johnson clinched the 3-2 victory for the team by depending on strong net play to win the 3rd and deciding set 6-4.

Charlie Hudson threw 5 scoreless innings, and had 3 strikeouts. Andrew gray threw three scoreless and struck out four. Marshwood and Kennebunk played to a 0-0 tie and game called after 9 innings due to rain.
