Dear Chief Moya, and the Eliot Police Department,
On behalf of the Marshwood Girls Volleyball program, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you for coming out and playing a scrimmage with us on Saturday. Your enthusiasm, energy, and support made the experience incredibly fun for our players.
It means so much to our team to feel connected with the local community, and your willingness to jump in and share the court truly showed that spirit.
With appreciation,

Extended Learning Opportunities (ELO) Program
Hello Everyone-
The ELO Program is excited to offer an opportunity for students, 16 yrs old and older, to gain an Oral Health Micro-Credential, sponsored by Maine's Public Universities System.
Oral Health Foundations Micro-Credential
https://www.maine.edu/student-success/micro-credentials/list-of-micro-credentials/oral-health-foundations/A “micro-credential” showcases your competency in skills that are needed in today’s workforce. A verified micro-credential is earned when learners are able to demonstrate what they know — and what they are able to do — related to a specific topic
Developed by the Children’s Oral Health Network of Maine’s Oral Health Industry Partnership (OHIP), this micro-credential equips learners with the knowledge and skills to help underserved populations navigate the complex dental system and promotes the enhancement of oral health education.
Please see Mr Scully, ELO Coordinator, if you have questions about this micro-credential or others.

Marshwood improved to 4-2 on the road. An off day for the Hawks but we pulled out the win. We were often lacking collective flow, but with 20 team aces in our favor, it can cover up a lot of miscues. Nellie Young Led with 13 kills. Julia Sudol led with 6 blocks. Brynn Folger led with 22 assists. Kylie Folger led with 14 digs.

From Coach Childs
Hawks improve to 3-2 at home. Good vibes from start to finish. The girls had solid movement and flow to go along with some massive offensive attacks. Nellie Young led with 12 kills. Brynn Folger had 22 assists. Zoe Noonan led with 4 aces. Kylie Folger led with 11 kills. Julia Sudol, who was the backup setter, has transitioned her game to be a force in her own right. As a primary blocker and attack option, she is quietly earning the nickname "Wall of Sudol" led with 3 blocks. Tonight was a "get right" game for our girls mentally and physically. In the end the number one assignment was to come together through it all, and we did that.

Program wide all of our girls had a fantastic night from 1st team to JV. Often I find myself proud of all of our girls. But a moment that is beginning to define of program of girls came in the last set of the JV game. Sophomore outside hitter Lilah Putnam went back to serve to close out the match. She missed her serve, but the perseverance to move on to the next play without focusing on the miss but to focus with determination to earn that point back was simply a moment I couldn't help but sit back and admire. The growth and bond everyone is forming, from coaches to players to parents is a beautiful thing. We are all lucky to have the opportunity to share these moments together!

Yesterday our Hawks were part of the "Play For A Cause" Volleyball Invitational. We accomplished quite a bit. The girls won their bracket! But more importantly they showed selflessness in mentoring some of our younger players. Thank you to all that came out.

Congrats to Marshwood's own Annabelle Getchell. After securing their second New Hampshire State Championship and successfully defending their Northeast Regional title in May, Annabelle and her boatmate Hannah Bogle—a standout freshman at Oyster River High School—continued their dominant season at the US National Rowing Championships in Sarasota, Florida this past week.
The duo posted the third fastest time overall in the national time trials and powered through the semi-finals with a commanding performance, earning their place in the championship race. In today’s final, Annabelle and Hannah delivered an epic sprint finish, holding off fierce competition to secure second place in the nation and bring home the silver medal.
Their remarkable season has been a testament to dedication, teamwork, and sheer determination. Congratulations to Annabelle and Hannah on this national success!
