Extended Learning Opportunities (ELO) Program:
Hello Everyone-hope all is well as we wind down 2025.
As you may know, Marshwood High School has recently implemented an Extended Learning Opportunities (ELO) Program. We recently sent out a form to help us develop community partnership.
We have had 20 responses-individuals, businesses and organization.
Thank you!
As we said, our program is growing fast! To that end, we are hoping for 50 new partners by the new year. Please help us reach our goal by considering becoming a partner or sharing this post with someone you know who might consider becoming a community partner.
These partnerships provide students with invaluable exposure to career connected learning, make learning more relevant and strengthen us as a Marshwood community.

Congratulations to The Marshwood Football Team. They have been named the Class B Maine Principals Association Sportsmanship Award winner for the 2025 season. This is their 3rd Sportsmanship Award in the last 4 years and 4th overall since Coach Rotsko took over in 2012 (2012, 2022, 2024, 2025). This a great testament to the coaches and players on truly putting the right priorities in order. Congratulations and thank you for representing the right way.

awks Volleyball takes down South Portland High School in 3 straight sets to advance into playoffs. The girls came out of the gate tight, but really leaned on each other to overcome that feeling and close out the set in style. The second set Marshwood was leaning on the offensive game and scouting report, we were on point with our objectives, winning the set by 14 points. Set three came around and we continued the journey that really started 4 years ago with a new mindset and culture shift that focused on the quality of the person and not just their talent. Having all of our coaches working overtime to get them ready has been a really proud moment for me as head of the program, I am so grateful for all of their dedication. Tonight showed how important being supportive to each other leads to success and the addition of talent was a bonus. Captain Brynn Folger led with 29 assists. Julia Sudol led with 6 blocks. Captain Riley Phipps led in digs with 14 and 9 kills to go along with it. Riley really set the tone for our entire team all night. Nellie Young led with 14 kills. As a coach working with these athletes for 4 years, I could not be more happy for them, they deserve to feel seen and got a little piece of it tonight! Dear Chief Moya, and the Eliot Police Department,

On behalf of the Marshwood Girls Volleyball program, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you for coming out and playing a scrimmage with us on Saturday. Your enthusiasm, energy, and support made the experience incredibly fun for our players.
It means so much to our team to feel connected with the local community, and your willingness to jump in and share the court truly showed that spirit.

With appreciation,
