
Congrats to our female Marshwood wrestlers Kelsie Strong and Savannah Chapman. They both took 4th at Girls’ States today

The Marshwood Hawks competed at the Class A State Championship today at the University of Southern Maine and delivered some impressive results:
Andre Clark defended his Class A title in the 55 dash with a 6.38 in the finals. That mark broke both the state meet record of 6.46 held by Jarret Flaker of Scarborough, and the Maine state record of 6.39 set by Clark at last week's SMAA championships. He added a title in the 200 meter dash, crossing the line in 22.85 to seal the double victory.
Other state meet medalist performances from Marshwood included
Harrison Page in the 400, 4th in 52.28
Shayne Sandler in the Pole Vault, 6th with an 11-6 clearance
Henri Rivard in the 1 mile, 6th with a 4:45. 05
Isaiah Perodin in the 55 Hurdles, 8th with an 8.40
and the 4 x 200 relay team of Braeden Gagnon, Harrison Page, Micaiah Perodin, and Andre Clark, 4th with a 1:35.83
The boys team finished 7th overall out of 22 scoring teams with 37 points. South Portland won the boys championship with 53 points.
Maya Sanzone was the lone state meet medalist for the girls team finishing 5th in the 1 mile with a personal record time of 5:32.20

Marshwood wrestling took 7th at States today. Kylan Berry was our sole individual state champ! Cody Bubier took 2nd. Jack Anderson took 4th. We also won the Class A Sportsmanship Award for the second year in a row

Marshwood ski had a very successful two days at States. Hadley Prewitt and Quinn Maguire win states in SL and GS and both boys and girls win Class A Sportsmanship Awards!! Congrats to Coach Oberg and Prewitt and the whole crew! Way to represent!! #HawkPride

The Marshwood/Noble/Traip/Sanford Knighthawks beat the Lake Region/Fryeburg/Oxford Hills Ice Cats 10-2 in Bridgton on Saturday. The Knighthawks ran up the score with 6 goals in the second period on 8 shots. Ayden Lockard had 4 goals and 1 assist, and is now tied for first in goals (17) in Maine Class A hockey. Ben Ott played well in net for the hawks, stopping 18 of 20 shots in net.
The Knighthawks next game is on Wednesday 2/14 in Dover, 6:15 pm vs Thornton Academy.

The Marshwood/Noble/Traip/Sanford Knighthawks beat the Biddeford/Old Orchard Beach/Massabesic Tigers 5-2 in Dover on Saturday. The Knighthawks dominated, putting up 50 shots on goal. Zac Camp had a breakout game with a hat trick on three snipes, and Ayden Lockard added two goals of his own on top shelf rockets. Connor Lentz played well in net for the hawks, stopping 15 of 17 shots in net.
The Knighthawks next game is on Saturday 2/10 in Bridgton, 4:00 pm vs Lake Region/Fryeburg/Oxford Hills.
