Congratulations to Andre Clark who was the Class A state champion in the 55 m dash. His teammate Rowan Carter was 3rd. Rowan was also 2nd in the 200 m dash and Andre was 3rd. Addie Fuller finished 3rd in the 2 mile. All three Hawks advanced to the New England Championship in Boston on March 4. Other medalists at the Indoor Track state meet included: Isaiah Perodin - 6th in Triple Jump Hayden Sawyer - 8th in the 800 Girls 4 x 800 relay - 6th (Day, McClellan, M Sanzone, Tessier) Boys 4 x 200 relay - 8th (I Perodin, M Perodin, Clark, Carter)

The Marshwood Noble Traip Sanford Knighthawks tied the Gorham Rams 2-2 at USM on Monday. Ayden Lockard and Andrew Brayne had goals for the Knighthawks. Sumner Wood stopped 18 of 20 shots in net. Brayne tied the game with 2:13 remaining in the 3rd period. The Knighthawks still occupy the 6th playoff seed for Class A going into their final regular season game. The Knighthawks play next against York on Wednesday 2/22 at 1:15 pm @ Dover Ice Arena. Danny Fuller had the goal for the Knighthawks. Sumner Wood stopped 26 of 30 shots in net. Penalties were once again the problem for the Knighthawks. They racked up 8 of them.

Congratulations to Marshwood indoor track teammates Rowan Carter & Andre Clark who both won conference championships in the 55 dash and the 200. Carter won the senior division races, while Clark won the junior division races.  Both Hawks also broke school records in the process.  Rowan also was selected as the most improved senior division athlete.
