REGISTRATION for Marshwood Schools Fall Sports!
Dear Parents & Students,
Our Fall sports sign-up portals on FormREleaf.com opened June 1st for anyone looking to play sports at Marshwood HS or Marshwood MS. Registration page is located here: https://app.formreleaf.com/organizations/search?q=Marshwood
Please go on ASAP to ensure our coaches have accurate numbers of students looking to participate. The High School Fall practices begin Monday August 14th and all schedules with games and practices will be located on www.digitalsports.com. All Fall Middle School sports will have meetings on Aug 30th with practices beginning Tuesday September 5th and all schedules will be located on digitalsports as well. For eligibility purposes, the students going into grades 10-12 will have to have passed 4 classes in the fourth quarter to be eligible for any Fall activity. If they do not meet this requirement, they will be ineligible until first quarter grades are submitted and can regain eligibility."

Congrats to our baseball coaches & players for being named Class A MPA Sportsmanship Award recipients this year! See pics as they attended the A champs at USM today & were honored on the field pre game! Although they would have liked to be playing the recognition was awesome!

Two Marshwood athletes are up for athlete of the week!
Sarah Theriault, Marshwood, lacrosse
Theriault scored six goals and added one assist to lead Marshwood to a 17-7 Class A preliminary round win over Sanford last Tuesday, and added another three goals in the Hawks' upset win over Thornton on Friday.
Ben Garrepy, Marshwood, baseball
Garrepy became a hero for Marshwood as his RBI single in the bottom of the eighth inning drove in the winning run in the Hawks' 2-1 win over Massabesic in a Class A South preliminary game. Also, Garrepy doubled for one of his two hits, and scored a run in the loss to South Portland on Saturday.

Hawks Volleyball is hosting Free Youth Clinics this week from 5:30 to 7:30 at the High School for students currently in grades 6-8. Please use the flyer to sign up or check in with Coach Childs at the start of the clinic to sign a permission slip for your child! See flyer below


Congratulations to Shelby Anderson who won the New England Championship in Javelin. Her winning throw of 130-3 was a season best and Shelby became the first Marshwood Track and Field athlete to win a NE title.
Congratulations to Rowan Carter who finished 3rd in the 200 meter dash at today’s New England Track and Field championships. Rowan became the first All-New England athlete for the boys team in school history and his time of 22.01 broke the school record!
His teammate Andre Clark finished 9th in the 100 & the 200, and the boys 4x100 team of Jonny Sawyer, Clark, Harrison Page, and Carter finished 10th

Marshwood baseball will play at So Portland on Sat jun 10th at 11am in the Class A Semi's for a right to go to the Regional Final next week.

Tyler Hussey was a rock for the MHS hawks. Ty gave the Hawks 6 innings of one run baseball on the mound. Henry Dimmerling led the way with 3 hits and the gane winning run off of Ben Garrepy’s walk off single in the 8th. Onto Scarboro at 4:30 Thursday! #family
