The Marshwood Athletic Dept would like to extend our deepest sympathy to our Football coach Alex Rotsko who lost his dad on Thursday Sept 1 (Alex Rotsko, Sr) at the age of 92 yrs. Alex Sr was often seen at MHS supporting his son and our teams since Coach was hired in 2012.
Anyone looking for a great community service opportunity by former MHS grad (Taylar Schoff) is running in Stratham, NH called TopSoccer. TopSoccer is an adaptive program for kids in our community all across Maine/New Hampshire. Taylar's contact is in the flier attached

All Marshwood Students are Eligible for Free
Meals MSAD #35 announces its policy to serve nutritious meals every school day under the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program. Effective August 31, 2022, through June 30, 2023, all students registered and enrolled in Marshwood Schools are eligible for free meals regardless of household income.
Lunch and breakfast are provided for students in K-12 and Pre-K students will be provided with either breakfast or lunch depending on the session they attend (AM/PM). Students that bring cold lunch and order milk, will be charged $.40.
Just a quick note that our Sanford Vocational students start this Monday and Tuesday, the 29th and 30th for classes. The AM bus departure is 7 O'Clock and the PM departure is 10:30. If you have questions please call us at 384-4500
We are excited to have our incoming 9th graders and all new students to the district attend an orientation day on Tuesday, August 23rd from 8:30 AM to 1 pm.
Students will get to meet their advisors, receive important information, as well as tour the building before the first day of school begins. We will also have a cookout for lunch.

Marshwood High School Student Rowan Waddell
Makes Rotary Presentation
Rowan Waddell was a recipient of a South Berwick/Eliot Rotary grant that helped to sponsor her trip to Italy. Rowan spent time with her host family in Terni, Italy. She returned with her exchange student host, Mati. Mati joined the Waddell family to visit and learn about the New England area.
Rowan and Mati made their presentation to Rotary members and shared their travel experiences. Mati presented the Rotary with a flag from Termi, Italy
