Marshwood wrestling took 2nd today at the Merrimack Duals. Defeated Bow, Salem B, and Monty Tech. We lost to Salem in the final meet 45-36

The Marshwood/Noble/Traip/Sanford Knighthawks beat the Windham/Westbrook/Bonny Eagle Trailblazers 3-1 in Dover on Friday. Makili Matty was the player of the game, scoring two great goals. Ben Thyng had the game-winning second goal on a shot from the point that snuck by a screen. Zac Camp had three assists. Connor Lentz continues to make a case for All-State Goalie honors, allowing only one goal on numerous scoring chances.
The Knighthawks next game is on Monday 1/20 against Lake Region, 7:00 pm in Bridgton

Marshwood girls hoop (12-1) turned the tides on Biddeford (9-4) tonight and beat them 53-50, avenging their only loss of season from
Dec 30th. Sarah Theriault led all scoring with 21pts, 14rbs followed by Natalie Lathrop with 11pts.

MARSHWOOD 53, BRUNSWICK 44: Liam Tiernan and Ryan Essex combined for 13 free throws in the fourth quarter as the Hawks (6-5) pulled away from the Dragons (4-7) in South Berwick.
Marshwood outscored Brunswick 22-12 in the fourth quarter. Tiernan finished with 18 points, Essex had 14 and Ronan Garrett scored 12.

Marshwood wrestling went 4-1 and got 2nd today at the Kennebunk Duals! We beat Morse 59-22, York 57-24, Kennebunk 46-27, and a team made of JV guys from the other teams 80-0. We lost to Wells in the Finals 29-53

Marshwood (10-1) beats Brunswick (6-5) on the road 53-50. The Hawks out score the Dragons 20-7 in the 4th. Sarah Theriault led the team with 16pts, 10rbs, 4 assists. 3 others were in double digits as well. Isabelle Tice and Natalie Lathrop with 12 and Emily Clark with 10.

The Marshwood/Noble/Traip/Sanford Knighthawks beat the Cape Elizabeth Capers 2-0 in Portland on Thursday.
Goals for the Hawks were scored by Sean Sullivan and Emmett Hammond. The Knighthawks dominated possession all night, with 52 shots on goal. Nathan Hanisko played well in net for the Capers, but the Knighthawks could not be denied when Sullivan finally put away a wrister with 2:20 remaining. Hammond fired a wrister of his own past Hanisko 10 seconds later. Connor Lentz played great in net for the Knighthawks, with a shutout on 18 shots.
The Knighthawks next game is on Saturday 1/11 against Gorham, 5:30 pm at USM Gorham.

The Marshwood/Noble/Traip/Sanford Knighthawks beat the St. Dominic Academy Saints 2-1 in Dover on Saturday. Goals for the Hawks were scored by Emmett Hammond and Brady Asciola. Hammond scored on a nice breakaway shot blocker side, while Asciola sniped a wrister top corner glove side from the point. Connor Lentz played great in net for the Knighthawks, only allowing 1 goal on 19 shots with some great glove saves.
The Knighthawks next game is on Thursday 1/9 against Cape Elizabeth, 8 pm at Troubh Ice Arena.

Goals for the Hawks were scored by Makili Matty, Emmett Hammond, and Brody Langella. Sean Sullivan added 2 assists. Connor Lentz played well in net for the Knighthawks, only allowing 2 goals.
The Knighthawks next games will be in the Kennett Christmas Tournament at Ham Arena in North Conway, starting Friday 12/27.

The Hawks (6-0) take down the Gray New Gloucester Patriots in overtime after trailing by 18 at the half. Natalie Lathrop hit the buzzer beater to seal the 59-56 win for Marshwood. Isabelle Tice and Natalie Lathrop had 16pts a piece followed by 10pts from Emily Clark, 9pts from Renee St. Pierre, and 8pts from Sarah Theriault who also had 10rbs.
