✨📖 Marshwood Middle School will host the Scholastic Book Fair from March 2–March 11. 📖 ✨
The fair will be set up in the library and open throughout the school day. It will also be open on Thursday, March 5, from 3:00–6:00 p.m. in the school lobby during conferences.
The link below provides additional information about the fair, along with a digital flyer. A portion of the proceeds directly supports our MMS library, allowing us to purchase new books and continue literacy programs and activities.
Thank you so much for your support!
✨📖 Prepare for the fair! 📖✨

This unforgettable experience was made possible through the support of Michele Meyer, Marianne Moore, and our dedicated MMS staff and administration.
Thank you to everyone who helped create this special opportunity—and congratulations to our chorus members for representing MMS with such pride and excellence!

Here is the school counselor’s tip of the week: Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and hearts are everywhere! At this point in the school year, chances are good that one of your peers has caught your eye. Maybe they've become your special someone, or maybe you're working on it. Just remember that middle school crushes, friendships, and relationships are constantly changing so it's important to keep an open mind. If it works out, awesome! But sometimes, it doesn't. Rejection feels awful in the moment, but you can move on from these feelings when you've got an active social life full of positive, supportive and fun people to occupy your time. Middle school loves aren't meant to last so don't take things too personally if something doesn't work out how you hoped.

Don't miss your chance to see Monty Python’s Spamalot Young@Part (Marshwood Middle School Production)! Tickets are still available, but they're selling fast. You can skip straight to the front of our line and secure your tickets by visiting our website.

Join us for BINGO next week at MMS!

Extra, extra read all about it!

Honesty is when you:
Tell the truth about what happened
Take responsibility for your actions
Don’t cheat, lie, or blame others
Admit mistakes and try to fix them
Example:
If you forget to do your homework, honesty means admitting it instead of making an excuse.
Let's kick off the year with an honest start!

As we head into a new month, challenge yourself to step out of your comfort zone. Try a new club, pick up a book you wouldn’t normally read, sit with someone different at lunch, or explore a new hobby. You might discover something you really enjoy—or learn something new about yourself. It’s a new month which brings new possibilities!

We are so proud to celebrate all of the students who earned Honors and High Honors this term. Your hard work, dedication, and perseverance truly shine. Keep up the great work—your efforts do not go unnoticed!
Way to go, Hawks! 🎉📚✨
